Max by Rokas Rach and Liam Warwick

Model, Max Cocking is photographed here by Rokas Rach and Liam Warwick, originally done for Shalom&Shwmae blog HERE back in June.  Max was styled by Adam Chan, and I am enjoying the use of the copper band/belt--just like something you might find in the plumbing aisle at the hardware shop, but with notches and some other fine details. It's a very interesting piece. See more at YVY HERE.

Braille Fall/Winter 2011

I've been enjoying the work from design duo Braille since last year. Their latest collection-Our Damn Hands-keeps the ride going-a balance between a strong, yet slightly vulnerable, masculinity. See the collection in the video below and read about the team in an interview with StyleSalvage HERE.

James Long Fall 2011

This long knit sweater is a part of James Long's current Fall 2011 collection. I enjoy the colors and the length. See more of the collection HERE on Larapixie. Long, along with others, are featured in Fashion156's look at London Fashion week--showcasing some of their favorite collections HERE.

Ben Cope for SkinGraft

Ben Cope has worked with Skin Graft before. However, what I enjoy about this work done for the brand's latest lookbook, is the silvery sallow look of the models skin and hair--Anderson Cooper to the extreme. See more HERE on Fashionisto. Check out Cope's site HERE.

Daniele Alessandrini S/S 2011

Daniele Alessandrini offers several degrees of collections, but the one I enjoy the most--due to what I think is great styling--is the Homme collection. Casual and street-wear looks done very nicely. You can see more of the Homme collection HERE on Morphosis and see two more 2011 collections from Alessandrini HERE on his site.

Edu Garcia--Photographer

The two top looks are from a shoot by Edu Garcia. I'm enjoying the outdoor setting but also think that the shot with red is reminiscent of a pose/shot from the late 80's early 90's--but, of course, with a female supermodel instead of the present day, masculine counterpart. Regardless, the color and movement in the shot are great. I'm also enjoying the jacket used in another shoot by Garcia, with its black, viynl-like (almost tape like) accents. See more of the work by Edu Garcia HERE on his site.

Simon Spurr Fall/Winter 2011

I'm a sucker for hoods and gloves and these looks by Simon Spurr make it look so right--when it could be considered so wrong: paired with suits. I must say, wearing the longer gloves along with a suit works best when said gloves are black. I'm enjoying the detachable hood very much. See more of Simon Spurr's collection F/W 2011 HERE on this.hearts.on.fire.

Libertine Man F/W 2011.12

Most of the Libertine man collection for F/W 2011.12 looks as if the models walked into freshly painted walls before hitting the runway--but that is how it is supposed to look--and I'm enjoying it. The piece I most enjoy is this coat with the streaks of blue. See more HERE on Homotography.

Robert Geller F/W 2011

I'm thoroughly enjoying this Robert Geller coat, enhanced by the studded belt.

Gilbert & Lewis Fall 2011

Gilbert and Lewis Fall 2011. What can be said: I'm enjoying the prints on the knit sweaters and the checked shirts. But the complete look with the leggings is very ski lodge--in a good way. See more of the Greg Vaughan photos HERE on Fashionisto.

Tillmann Lauterbach F/W 2011

This is my favorite piece from the Tillmann Lauterbach F/W 2011 collection. I enjoy a jumpsuit right now, and the print of this one is great--cosmic in a way--related to the prints seen in previous collections. See more of this collection HERE on This Hearts On Fire

J. Lindeberg Fall 2011

From Stockholm designer J. Lindeberg comes some enjoyable looks as included in his Fall 2011 collection lookbook. I'm a simple guy, and I love the turned up jeans. I enjoy the straightforwardly crisp design--a bit of preppy restraint and a touch of rebellious cool. See more HERE on the Fashionisto.

Barcelona Fashion: Karlota Laspalas and Josep Abril

From the runways in Barcelona come two designers with pieces and looks I enjoy: Karlota Laspalas which gives me a Spanish military vibe with the A/W 11.12 collection , Time, and the fly on the shorts is fantastic; and also Josep Abril whose A/W 11.12 collection features this great knit sweater. You can see more of their collections and those of fellow Spanish designers HERE on the 808 Barcelona Fashion site.

Yigal Azrouel

What I enjoy about the designs of Yigal Azrouel--simple, airy, cool. These looks are from his F/W 11 and S/S 11 collections. I particularly enjoy the look and styling of the sweater of the oxford with the sleeves rolled up. Also, the jumpsuit, below. See more HERE on his great site.

Trends for Spring/Summer 2011

According to Ann-Sofie Johansson--H&M--and Imran Amed. The video showcases many of the trends according to H&M design. My favorite: the shorted jumpsuit, about halfway mark on the video--or is it a "play suit" according to Johansson?

Matthew Lyn--Photography

This is an example of taking feminine design (pants and shoes) and making it masculine. Great styling--I enjoy this shot by Matthew Lyn taken for Schon. See more of the shoot entitled Witch Craft HERE.  The headpiece is by Erik Andrew Bergrin--check out more of his stuff HERE.

Supplementaire #4

The current issue of Supplementaire might just be the most enjoyable to me, yet. Check it out HERE and see more such as the work of Joe Lally and Forte+Zachary, featuring underwear pieces from Nasty Pig and (a bit more "jock" and Americana) Hilfiger.

"The Fallen" in Supplementaire

This is a gorgeous setting for a shoot entitled The Fallen for the current issue of Supplementaire, shot by Matthew Lyn and styled by Jenn Finklestein. Not only is the setting--a national park in Quebec--beautifully dark and mysterious and put to good use, but the pieces used are just as appropriate. I'm enjoying the elaborate red coat by Dominique Ouzilleau as well as the pants by Dimitri Chris and boots from All Saints. See more of the shoot HERE in the latest Supplementaire.
