Zana Bayne Leather 2011

Zana Bayne Leather has created some very enjoyable pieces for their S/S 2011 collection. When will it be acceptable to wear these pieces over the suit at the office--I mean, it could really help business, I think. Some of my favorite pieces are pic'ed below. I'm enjoying the shorts and suspenders--the whole ensemble--featured in this shoot by Sam Scott Schiavo. See more HERE on Zephyr-files. The shorts by Tiberius are killer, though very short, and I always like a jumpsuit like this one from Superated.

Butch 2011 Spring/Summer

Butch (Brazil) brand under garments has released their 2011 collection featuring model Mateus Verdelho (fan site HERE) for the campaign and lookbook. You can download a pdf of the lookbook from the Butch site HERE. Below are some of my favorite pieces. The collection has underwear, swimwear, tanks, and shorts. I'm enjoying many of the prints and color combos. 

Mark Pillai for Velvet Magazine

Mark Pillai photographs model Hyacinthe de Geyer for this amazing spread in Velvet Magazine. I'm enjoying the sense of movement in many of the shots as well as the setting by the sea. Of course, the spread also features some great looks and pieces from leading designer brands such as Gucci, Cavalli, Fujiwara, Barret, Yves Saint Laurent, and more.

Jil Sander Coat in Fantasticsmag

I'm enjoying the look put together by stylist Martin Waitt and photographed by Kristina Wilson for Fantasticsmag entitled Getting Back to Where I Was. Levis, LNA (allegedly) Boots, and Jil Sander coat. I particularly enjoy the belt placed high up on the waist. See more HERE.

Ricardo Andrez Spring/Summer 2011

Ricardo Andrez sends his models down the runway covered in white dots for his current S/S 2011 collection. It definitely gives a twist to the photos and presentation, but more important are the looks--particularly enjoying the prints and his shorts. The runway photos are by Rui Vasco. But there are also great behind the scenes pics (black and white) you can check out, shot by Isabel Zuzarte--great. I would love to know more about the "dots." It gives a almost pollen like feel--somewhat whimsical, yet mysterious and masculine at the same time. See more of the looks from Andrez's collection on his blog HERE.

I'm enjoying the high waist shorts offered in the Johannes Faktotum S/S 2011 collection. Here are my two favorite looks from the collection featuring the shorts; along with a cotton sweater, a workwear button down, and...a reflective harness. Love the harness! See more of the collection HERE.

Wild Boys in Schon Magazine

Shot by Jannis Tsipoulanis for Schon Magazine, the spread entitled Wild Boys was styled by Andrej Skok and I'm really enjoying the work--though, I'm not sure about the title...The shoot features lots of pieces from McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Mihara Yasuhiro, Qasimi, Lanvin, Wooyoungmi, and many more designers. Konrad Parol gives us Ember for his S/S 2011 collection. Walking down the leaf covered streets yesterday, I did want for a flowing article of clothing to get caught up in the wind--very similar to the cape-like sleeveless overlay below.
