Book Club is a label designed and produced in Australia. The pieces in their latest collection for a/w 2011 are subtle, simple, but with the incorporation of some nice colors. But, the truth is I am enjoying the photo story for the collection even more than the pieces. It's quite the mood with a borderline retro vibe. The books got me--can't lie. See more HERE on the Book Club site.

This look--lacy masculinity--is styled by Christian Stroble. Shot by Matthew Brookes. I enjoy the red lace that is picked up in the shoes, and the shot itself is a subtle cool. Almost a Latin, rock-a-billy cross. See more from the spread HERE on Homotography.
Shot by Cleon Manz for Deluxx, this shoot entitled "The Wild, the Beautiful, and the Damned" features these two great pieces by Steve Corcoran(mirrored top) and Void of Course (studded vest). Both pieces speak volumes and could cause one pain if worn the wrong way. See more from the shoot HERE on Morphosis.

Studs and a Peacoat from Lina Osterman for her Fall/Winter 2011 collection. There is an appeal that silver studs have against black--especially a leather jacket--but, I am enjoying the use of studs on the green. It's a bit refreshing. See more from Lina Osterman's collection HERE on This.Hearts.On.fire.

From LittleFashionisto comes a work of pure utilitarian bliss: using your shirt as a pair of pants. I'm enjoying this because I don't believe I have seen this done before. I would like to see what the back of the "pants" look like--but I think the front, utilizing the collar with the suspenders is very clever. Great color story too. See the full transformation HERE on LittleFashionisto

This is one more from Fiasco's current issue on decadence. Shot by Ivan Muselli, this story entitled "The Jar" features shorts and jacket by Albino Deuxieme. I'm enjoying the print and the blue color to it. Albino's Spring 2011 collection actually features several prints. See more from the collection HERE on Fashionisto and check out the current Fiasco HERE.

Fiasco magazine has put forward THE PLAYFULLY DECADENT ISSUE HERE which features the work of photographer Vincent Nord in this spread entitled "United Colors of Decadence." What could be more decadent than wearing a shirt of micro-machine cars?--and paired with the crochet-like sweater and belt its even more so. See more HERE on YVY.

I do enjoy David Delfin's work, including his "harness" concept as seen in this shoot by Jakob Axelman for Contributing Editor entitled Boys Club. I love the idea of incorporating something so unexpected into your look--not to mention that the harness concept is somewhat ingenious. See more HERE on CE.
Sheer Magazine is just getting going. The spread entitled We're Only Watching features this jacket by Calvin Klein that I enjoy for all the lines all over it. The photo has that cool "on tv" feel, shot by Kristina Wilson. See more HERE on Morphosis.
