Taku for Commons&Sense magazine--Tokyo, Japan

I'm enjoying the "Immaculate Studs" included in this story by the same name: shot by Taku and styled by Tsuyoshi Noguchi for Commons&Sense  man magazine. Commons&Sense brings you style via Tokyo. I need to know where I can find this harness. I enjoy the way it's actually one piece, and connected to the belt (at least that's how it appears). It's a soft S&M vibe--an everyday S&M, if you will. See more of the shoot HERE on Morphosis.

Songzio Fall/Winter 2013

Tight and fitted suits with a look of being eroded: the Songzio Fall/Winter 2013 collection creates a feel of decadent decay with these leather suits. I enjoy the gold tones that come from underneath the distressed material on the black jacket below. See more HERE on Totem Fashion.

Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2013

Slick. Future. Dior Homme F/W 2013 keeps it simple and slightly militaristic with creative director Kris Van Assche. I enjoy the use of the belt to accentuate the waist; and of course I like the metallic glimmer. Very interesting graphics, too, on several of the pieces. See more HERE on Fashionisto.

Givenchy Fall/Winter 2013

I am enjoying the metal plates placed over the shoes for the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2013 collection runway show. It's also cool how they have placed photos taken by Robert Mapplethorpe onto many of the pieces. Definitely a military/uniform vibe going on, and I like it; I'll join the Mapplethorpe army any day.

Walter Van Beirendonck F/W 2013--"Shut Your Eyes to See"

This is my favorite look from Walter Van Beirendonck F/W 2013 collection, "Shut Your Eyes to See." What I enjoy is, of course, the glitter. Yes, it sparkles, but it also has texture and depth. I'm also very curious as to the material of the pants and the shirt: it has somewhat of a vinyl look, or maybe a very soft leather. Perhaps it's an eco-friendly material?  Whatever it may be, I like it; and the overall look is exquisite. See more HERE.

Belstaff Fall/Winter 2013

I've never thought of race car drivers as particularly glamorous, but that's what Belstaff had in mind for their Fall/Winter 2013 collection. I'm convinced. I get the cool factor being a racer can give a guy (or gal for that matter); Yet Belstaff has added more value to iconic racer imagery. Sheik racers: sexy, macho, and well-put-together. The collection features so much in the way of brilliant outerwear that I can't begin to post all the pieces I enjoy, but here are some of the looks and items I'm very happy to see. (There's even a jumpsuit!) Check out all of the collection from Milan, HERE on Fashionisto.

Jimmy Choo Men's F/W 2013

Jimmy Choo turns to Punk, to Glam, and to Pop and Street art for the F/W 2013 Men's collection. These shoes get my attention right way. I want to see them worn and styled. But more importantly, I want to go down to my local thrift to purchase an old pair of loafers, and then have a spray paint workshop. I can't look at these shoes and NOT get the DIY bug. See more of the Jimmy Choo F/W 2013 Men's collection HERE on Fashionising and  HERE on Fashionisto

John Richmond F/W 2013

John Richmond has a way for designing cool without trying too hard--as it should be. That's the case with the designer's Fall/Winter 2013 collection. I enjoy the leather accents and the embellishments added to the jackets that give a feeling of strength and intrigue . See more HERE.

Versace Fall/Winter 2013

Donatella and her gladiators are back, but this this time it's a softer edge created for the Versace Fall/Winter 2013 collection. I just can't help but be amused--in a good way--by the outlandish and provocative looks that get sent down the runway during a Versace show. While the functionality of such pieces and looks are minimal, the images provoke very strong ideas--mainly sex; but also glam lux sensibilities. No harm in that. See more of the Versace F/W 2013 collection HERE on Homotography.

Burberry Prorsum Fall/Winter 2013

It's really hard to beat a Burberry coat, particularly the trench. I'm always drawn toward a military form, but I also enjoy the contrast that is made between the classic hues and the animal prints seen on the shoes. I also like the more greatly exaggerated waist on several of the coats Check out more of the Burberry Prorsum F/W 2013 collection from Milan  HERE on Fashionisto.

Kenzo A/W 2013

Finally. Something that has gotten me excited this season in Men's collections. If you haven't been following what's been happening in London for the Men's collection, see highlights HERE. However, what I have enjoyed most has come from the Pitti Uomo in Florence: Kenzo A/W 2013 collection. The prints on the coats are not only colorful, but they are ethereal in a way: featuring cloudscapes in a way that is reminiscent of Japanese Ukiyo-e. I'm also enjoying the playful way the faux-tie on the blue suit is "broken" almost midway. See more of the collection HERE. Seems like Pitti might beat out London's collections this year as far as getting my attention.
