Wooyoungmi in 10 Men

This spread in 10 Men is featuring the designs of Wooyoungmi as well as an interview. I posted a while back on this coat by Wooyoungmi and the F/W collection. It's great to see the collection put to use on page with the styling of Benjamin Sturgill. I enjoy the brown neck piece and the furry bow-tie--not to mention the ultra high-waist pant. You can see the full spread and read the interview in the 10 Men summer issue and HERE from Fashionisto. According to Wooyoungmi, the man who wears her designs is "a good man." If you look good, you feel good, you do good--so we should hope.

You must check out the new Supplementaire. It's packed with stories and shoots from some great photographers and stylists. Like the images below by Sam Scott Schiavo, styled by Adia Trischler with the help of Mirza Sprecakovic. Entitled "Glorious Bastards," there is influence from the in-glorious movie, but mainly a s&m military kick. You just can't go wrong with vintage Royal Sashes and Military Boots. The accessory neck and Jaw pieces by And_i help top it all off.

Re-Bel mag has posted an online edition, as the hardcopy is only available in the London area. Click image and Check it out. Amongst it's pages is art, commentary, and fashion and a shoot by Pierre Debusschere. Very nice stuff. His website should also be visited.  He really has a unique perspective and offers something you don't find everyday.

Bell Soto and David Samuel Menkes in Visual Tales

I love this pic because it captures such a character and brings it to life. There is a softness that is counter balanced by the leather pants and whip by David Samuel Menkes. To put Menkes' leather wear in a fashion editorial such as this, is brilliant. It puts his work in a completely different light than what you may find on his website (beware, a bit racy).

HERO fashion zine

London has a new mag on the stands and you can check out the website. HERO is a mag that will feature the up an comings in mens fashion models and photographers. Thus, it has a younger feel to it. Not as stuffy as other mags that are out there. It's new, just launching this season, so it will be cool to see how it develops. It think it is great to see something new out there.
