Ricardo Andrez Spring/Summer 2011

Ricardo Andrez sends his models down the runway covered in white dots for his current S/S 2011 collection. It definitely gives a twist to the photos and presentation, but more important are the looks--particularly enjoying the prints and his shorts. The runway photos are by Rui Vasco. But there are also great behind the scenes pics (black and white) you can check out, shot by Isabel Zuzarte--great. I would love to know more about the "dots." Ricardo Andrez delivers his AW 2011 collection--"Selfish Fake"--during Modalisboa. Check out Andrez's blog to see the full collection. I'm enjoying the tribal feel I get coupled with a street vibe--a rebel prince. The styling is great and the t-shirt "arms" are memorable. One top is almost snakeskin like--one uses crystals to embellish--and the layered look...right on.
