As part of the gray and black palate (there are some pops of color, like a nice brilliant blue) of the Jeroen van Tuyl Fall 2011 collection is this "shattered" waistcoat made of leather, but with an onyx-like appearance. It's as if someone went for your gut with a sledgehammer--I'm enjoying it and find it very inspiring. The "shattered" motif finds its way into several of the pattern choices in the collection as well. But it is this piece with its destructive gleam that leaves the greatest impression. See more of the collection HERE on Fashionisto.

Jeroen Van Tuyl Spring and Fall 2010
Jeroen Van Tuyl's Spring collection was a bit on the whimsical side, but that is what Spring is about, yes? My favorite look is that of the very deep cut sweater with the light pinkish top underneath. The Fall collection is definitely darker, and I like the emphasis around the shoulders and collar. Again, my favorite look in this collection is the grey sweater, belted, and accessorized with gloves--right on.
