Max Chernitsov SS 2011 Man
Max Chernitsov is just cool--his designs offer moments of understated extravagance, and he is not afraid to take some risks. I enjoy the Eurasian vibe I get from his SS11 collection--many of the gold details, particularly the lapels, remind me of seaweed papers dipped in gold; not to mention the styling of the jacket paired with the billowing pants (almost skirt like). The floral inspired cut-outs on the tanks are also nice--offering a soft masculinity and contrast to the more somber hues.

Max Chernitsov Fall/Winter 2010
Max Chernitsov's most recent collection, Fall/Winer 2010, is entitled Russian Soul. Such a soul must be playfully cool with a bit of an edge. I'm enjoying the looks: boots, blue detailed cardigan, even the bear sweater. See more HERE on Morphosis.
