Fun w/ fashion by Acne and Shake Appeal

What I enjoy most about these pieces are their playful yet cool qualities. This boot by Acne, the Zweig, is the kind of piece that generates double takes. Many times, a hybrid idea such as this can lose it's charm, but these boots retain style in addition to the utilitarian component (they also come in dark brown).

The shirt by Shake Appeal, as part of their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, says it all; it's a geeky-cheeky. I'm digging the overall look as well.

Silver Castaner Boots

I enjoy items that shimmer, and these boots by Castaner do just that. Not only is the metallic sheen pleasant to look at (as it makes quite a statement) but the red socks and coordinated laces help to add another layer of interest. Switching out laces can be a quick but cracking accessorizing maneuver. This pair of boots are worn by  Hugo Lavin of Varon Mag.

Forgotten Future

Genius--or at least very innovative. The jacket has the zipper across the mid-section as to turn it from standard length to bolero style. I'm enjoying the metallic line of the horizontal zipper. Source: Varon

Giant Boots in Varon Magazine
