Sean O'Pry by Michael Schwartz for Black--New Zealand
I enjoy these looks for their urban cowboy, street smart vibe. The first look is all about the accessories: hat, boots, and jewelry. In fact, with exception of the boots, all the accessories are by Patricias: the hat, by Patricia Underwood; jewelry, by Patricia Von Musulin. The shoot was done by Michael Schwartz, capturing Sean O'Pry for New Zealand's Black Magazine. See the rest HERE on Fashionisto

Mr. Schreyer by Philip Gay
Like cleansing the palette, the white pieces in these two brilliant b/w shots by Philip Gay calm the eye. Roberto Cavalli shirt; Marc Jacobs pants--styled by Nik Piras. Model, Werner Schreyer gives some interesting poses--channeling a bit of James Dean, perhaps. See more of the shoot HERE on SteelMachines

Enzo Mondejar--Photographer
This enchanting shot is by Enzo Mondejar featuring model Düane Stagoll and pieces from label Paradigm Shift. What I enjoy about this shot is the movement seen via the wind and the almost geisha or kabuki like makeup on the model--giving a whimsical flare. See more of the story HERE on Fashionisto

"Heaven" in GQ Style China #1
This shot is from an editorial--"Heaven"--by Sean Spellman, featuring model Jonathan Marquez, in the first GQ Style China, snapped by photographer Dusan Reljin. The desert setting is awesome and wearing a trench with underwear in such a setting creates an intriguing scene. See more of this shoot HERE as well as more from GQ Style China #1 on Morphosis.

Nicolas Ripoll in "Mimetic Desire"
Model Nicolas Ripoll is featured in this short film by Jaime Rubiano and Jason Last entitled Mimetic Desire. Fashion+Art. Styling was by Jenke-Ahmed Tailly working with pieces from Dior Homme. I enjoy the film as it gives me the sense of what I sometimes feel as I take in works in a gallery: tension, escape, reflection, feeling of being lost within myself and the work--yet, strangely and acutely aware of the surroundings.

Tyson Ballou by Alexi Lubomirski for GQ-Japan
Alexi Lubomirski shot this story of nature and isolation featuring Tyson Ballou for GQ Japan. I'm loving the idea of wondering around the cabin grounds--river, lake, forest--in my long-johns and un-laced boots. See more of the story HERE on YVY.

Shirt worn by Mateus Verdelho--model
A blog dedicated to the Brazilian model, Mateus Verdelho, posted this pick of him in a rather unusual shirt. It gives me a sailor vibe all 'round: worn with the white shorts; white and blue stripes; and the very interesting triangular cuts. I suppose the tats are quite sailor too.

Zara--August 2010
There is usually something that I find with Zara that gets me. I'm enjoying the current lookbook and campaign featuring Tobia Sorensen and Sean O'Pry. I'm usually down with Zara's coats, but I am also digging the boots right now. The photography, models, pieces, and looks are all working well.
Great oversize collar, roughness paired with tee, sweater and jacket pairing, and the final pic: I enjoy the overall look--navy--but particularly the accentuated tongue on the boots.
See more HERE at Zara. Pics from Fashionisto HERE and HERE.
