Shake Appeal: Bangkok: AW 2010

Shake Appeal delivers what they say they will "unique and wearable." The pieces from their latest A/W 2010 collection, "All the Young Dudes," gives us simple, cool and comfortable looks. Evidently influenced by the Wes Anderson school of dress...I can see it...What I enjoy most are the tees with "blockage" and the look of the khakis and boots with the simple button-up.

See more HERE on Shake Appeal Blog or from Definitive Touch HERE.

From "Oh My God" magazine--Spain

Bárbara Lez photographs a bit of Rock 'n Roll glam for Oh My God magazine in Spain: Diesel leggings, Converse, and a bit of lace and make-up--Spanish Glam. See more of the shoot HERE on Morphosis.

From FIASCO 4--The Teen Freedom Issue

The latest Fiasco is full of interesting fashion stories and features many great photographers and pieces from interesting designers. See the issue HERE. Below are some of my favorite looks, pieces, and photos from the issue.

"Crumpled/Scoundrel" in Fiasco

Photographed by Aline&Jacqueline Tappia is the story entitled "Cumpled/Soundrel" featured in Fiasco Sept/Oct issue (The Teen Freedom Issue): the deep yellow v-neck and pant by Etro and sunglasses by Ray Ban. Most importantly is the color and the model's (Benoni Loos) arm against the black background. I suppose the overall idea of the story is that of a guy--perhaps up to no good the night before--who makes his way back into the light of day, only slightly shaken up and un-ironed. Such is life.

Braille S/S 2011

Braille showcases their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection entitled "Colt."The looks deliver to me a feeling of religion--particularly the collar of the jacket with the triangular accent and the white jacket paired with white shirts. I'm also enjoying the pants with the emphasized seam. It's like religion out west--Nevada/Utah style. Are these looks as faithful as they seem?

Konrad Parol

Konrad Parol began a career in fashion designing for women. Now, he has turned his attention to menswear. With this look, I'm enjoying the volume of the coat--especially the hood--when paired with the leggings that have their own interesting shapes on the ankles and crotch.
