Miguel Antoinne delivers his Spring 2012 collection entitled "Midnight Safari"--these pics are from his lookbook for the collection. What I enjoy about these two looks are the idea: "put a strip across my chest and call it a day."--But really, I do like the black strip as well as how it works with the detail at the shoulder on the coat. Next: the suit. What to say: to have a suit completely done in such a detailed fabric: Decadence. See more of the collection HERE.

Yoshio Kubo S/S 2012: Tokyo Fashion Week
Tokyo Fashion Week just wrapped up, and these two pieces are from the collection Yoshio Kubo showed for the event. I'm enjoying the black-and-white asymmetrically color blocked jacket as well as the coat with its dot--dashes: as if speaking in code. See more HERE on This.Hearts.On.Fire.

A "Sprint" in Dior
What I enjoy about this clip--other than the setting along a country road--is that you can sense a different mood for each look: a unique story that corresponds to the image and feel of each outfit that incorporates ideas about why this man is running down the road, who--if anyone/thing is he chasing, where did he come from, why is he there???? New story, new character for each look. The film was done for issue 11 of Hercules Mag.

Jeroen van Tuyl Fall 2011
As part of the gray and black palate (there are some pops of color, like a nice brilliant blue) of the Jeroen van Tuyl Fall 2011 collection is this "shattered" waistcoat made of leather, but with an onyx-like appearance. It's as if someone went for your gut with a sledgehammer--I'm enjoying it and find it very inspiring. The "shattered" motif finds its way into several of the pattern choices in the collection as well. But it is this piece with its destructive gleam that leaves the greatest impression. Rough and Tough--mask on Fashionisto
I'm enjoying this mask, worn in a shoot for The Fashionisto, shot by Brigitte Vincken.
I like the fact that the mask has a bit of a crown to it. But mostly, the photo itself is intense. Great Shot. See more of the Rough & Tough shoot HERE on Fashionisto

Bon Abstract Combinations
What I am enjoying most about this editorial are the stellar combinations of print, shape, and texture. Photographed by Andreas E. G. Larsson with styling by Stevie Westgarth for Bon magazine. The red and orange in the first pic (jacket and turtleneck) are thanks to Mugler. The second pic--which I enjoy for its off kilter angle--features Prada color blocking, and J.W. Anderson paisley.
