Lots of shorts have made their way down the runways this season, but the Mugler variation is one form of short pants that I enjoy. What I like the most is the way the ultra-short length is countered by the shirttail-like additions that pass through the legs, causing a sharp, angular look at the thigh. The addition even works to conceal the fact that the shorts are present at all (at least at the front). Read more about the collection as explained by designer Nicola Formichetti HERE on DazedDigital. See more of Mugler's shorts and the rest of the 2013 S/S collection HERE on WWD

Behind the Scenes: Mugler SS 2012
Lots has been said about Mugler--mainly due to the personalities surrounding the label. But one of the most interesting facets of Mugler's most recent collection is the use of gleaming accessories throughout, as seen in this behind-the-scenes shot by Paolo Simi for LURVE magazine. You can see more of the collection HERE on Fashionisto.

Mugler Fall/Winter 2011
The Mugler label is undergoing a mission of revival with the help of Nicola Formichetti. Besides the jackets and coat here, there are some pieces that could actually be worn to add a new dimension to a look--I'm enjoying the gloves with the thumbed-focus. See more HERE on Homotography and read more about the label's revival HERE on Hypebeast.
