Mugler Spring/Summer 2013

Lots of shorts have made their way down the runways this season, but the Mugler variation is one form of short pants that I enjoy. What I like the most is the way the ultra-short length is countered by the shirttail-like additions that pass through the legs, causing a sharp, angular look at the thigh. The addition even works to conceal the fact that the shorts are present at all (at least at the front). The Blonds RTW 2012

The Blonds' RTW 2012 collection--Dye Blond--from NYC. I'm enjoying the glimmer and the use of very intricate prints on the pants--ammo even. Bikers getting sexy and decadent--what's not to love. The necklaces sparkle with a Eurasian or even Persian slant. See more HERE on Homotography or WWD.

Trussardi 1911 Spring & Fall 2010

A few looks from the Trussardi Spring and Fall 2010 collections. I am partial to the more structured pieces in both collections. Hence, I forgo some of the tops in the Spring for more of the jackets--I enjoy the double lined look. And the grey long coat is very sharp. The three Spring pics are from WWD. The two Fall pics are from Fashionisto. I have a feeling that there may be a Trussardi ad posted here in the future featuring one of their giant bags. Emanuel Ungaro Fall and Spring 2010

What I might call a softer masculinity with an edge. Very pink in the spring; Crazy boots in the fall. Emanuel Ungaro offers something different and a bit romantic.
