Ricardo Andrez delivers his AW 2011 collection--"Selfish Fake"--during Modalisboa. Check out Andrez's blog to see the full collection. I'm enjoying the tribal feel I get coupled with a street vibe--a rebel prince. The styling is great and the t-shirt "arms" are memorable. One top is almost snakeskin like--one uses crystals to embellish--and the layered look...right on.

Ed Purnomo and Jam shoot and style Tiago Lobo

Interesting spread with use of color and some creative styling. Photographer Ed Purnomo, and Stylist Jam work to give Lobo a rock and roll vibe. I'm enjoying the rich and embellished black top with the fringed sash and pants & the use of belts paired with underwear and jacket. The final pic is actually from Purnomo's site and I have included it because of the look: with oversized/stuffed sweater, leggings, and boots--not to mention the nerdiness of the glasses. Kylie Coutts hits the beach for Cream

Camo label "Captain" Cardigan

Sweet Cardigan by Camo. I have one very similar, vintage from Japan. It's hard to pick up the "wood" effect on the buttons, but I think it is there. What I enjoy about this cardigan--like my own--are the large buttons and the oversized collar.  Pic from Selectism HERE.

Genius--or at least very innovative. The jacket has the zipper across the mid-section as to turn it from standard length to bolero style. I'm enjoying the metallic line of the horizontal zipper. Source: Varon

Portrait of a Bull Fighter from Bruce Weber

I was fortunate to see several of Bruce Weber's award winning short films on Sundance Channel this past week. Here, Weber has photographed Spanish bullfighter Jose Maria Manzanares.
