With so many options out there, brands have to work harder to get their products shown. I'm enjoying Calibre's efforts with their "Man of Calibre" project: guys can submit pics of themselves in their Calibre and be featured on the brand's site. Unbounded AWE by LayKuni

Some fantastic work coming from designer LayKuni (Won Jung Ku) for the label Unbounded AWE. Just slightly "out there" but with a controlled hand--the pieces are nicely done, tight designs. I enjoy Antonio Azzuolo's designs because they are a bit playful, yet simple, youthful, and classic--a great mix. The sweaters and pants are fantastic, and how can you not appreciate the over-the-top furry collar? The gloves and sunglasses are great accessories as well. Book Club A/W 2011

Book Club is a label designed and produced in Australia. The pieces in their latest collection for a/w 2011 are subtle, simple, but with the incorporation of some nice colors. But, the truth is I am enjoying the photo story for the collection even more than the pieces. It's quite the mood with a borderline retro vibe. The books got me--can't lie. Shot by Cleon Manz for Deluxx, this shoot entitled "The Wild, the Beautiful, and the Damned" features these two great pieces by Steve Corcoran(mirrored top) and Void of Course (studded vest).
